The Cultural Medallions Program
About This Project
I designed an update of this web site for an important New York City cultural institution. She conceived of and implemented a custom Google map that revealed the location of all the cultural medallions, as well as directions to them and a pop-up page with photos, video, and information about the each Notable New Yorker represented. IMAGE 1: The Home Page has a slideshow of quotes by various Notable New Yorkers.
IMAGE 2: This is the top portion of this page. There are 150 Medallions listed on the web site.
IMAGE 3: A custom google map was created to display all the medallions and allow functionality with Google Maps to get directions to the locations. The map also has a pop-up window with biography info and photos/videos.
